The After 6 Social All-Star's program was Heineken's sales marketing initiative to highlight 6 African American individual who have a secondary social activity outside of their day to day work. The campaign was conducted as submissions based contest where members of BlackPlanet.com were invited to submit their story and why they should be chosen. After a month of submissions, 6 were chosen and later video interviewed. These interviews were incorporated into a flash player hosted on the BlackPlanet site for the members to vote the final Social All-Star.

Glee was the short lived social networking site created by Community Connect for Gays and Lesbians. The name was an acronym for Gays, Lesbians and Everyone Else. The site included a jobs and professional section which provided job search tools connected to the Monster jobs data based. The site boasted an array of social networking features created to help encourage engagement amongst its user base. It allowed users to create customizable profile pages, upload, rate and comment on photos as well as create and manage groups.

I've worked with a diverse set of brands throughout my 14 years' experience as a creative and art director. In this period, I've developed an understanding of each brands' styles, standards and brand objectives. These brands encompass categories from automotive, pharmaceutical and military to entertainment, consumer goods and health & beauty. Such companies in my portolio include AT&T, Army, BET, Bounty, Colgate, Centric, CodeBlack, Covergirl, Disney, E!, Essence Music Festival, HBO, Heineken, Hennessy, Marines, Starz, T-Mobile, Target, Vibe and VH1.

Development Process

Phase 1:

Investigation & Exploration

We begin by getting a clearer picture of your objectives, competitive landscape, metric goals and parameters.
Phase 2:

Concept Development

Prototypes, mocks, initial comps are first generated for client feedback.
Phase 3:

Concept Refinement

After we've received your feedback, we apply the updates and generate new comps.
Phase 4:

Product Launch

Once the concept has been accepted, the final step is to apply the chosen look and feel to all wireframes.
Phase 5:

Quality Assurance

We then test the prototype to ensure both its full functionality and that it meets all defined parameters of the scope and objectives, as defined in the creative brief.
Phase 6:

Documentation

We finish by producing a final style guide documenting the use of colors, fonts, taxonomy, buttons, icon and other necessary element for future enhancements.

Agile Methodology

I am both an advocate and teacher of the Agile methodology, having effectively used and implemented it throughout my career. I'm a firm believer in the iterative process and having key stakeholders involved early and often.
